Dear Foundation Champion,

I am both humbled and inspired as I continue to walk with the Lobo Nation through these challenges we face together. Year after year, our students, teachers, parents, staff, and community come through — adapting and advancing. United, we support and elevate our amazing and resilient young adults — youth who are no strangers to adversity.

As you know, Elsie Allen High School has the highest percentage of economically disadvantaged students in our county and a significant portion are first generation. This barrier does not deter them from leveraging their intelligence, work ethic and resources to achieve their dreams. Together, we are breaking down barriers to educational equity and transitioning our youth to take their rightful places on the pathways to college and career. As we continue our transition out of this pandemic, we are very excited to reintroduce highly impactful student support programs and services around leadership development, college readiness and vocational training.

We continue to increase scholarship support annually with the Foundation awarding a record number of scholarships and funds year over year. While we are proud of the positive impacts we have been able to have on our young Lobos and community, we know we need to always strive to do better. I am deeply grateful to our Board, our partners and supporters for making our mission possible.
